We don’t believe costs should get in the way of someone receiving good dental care. Our Dental Clinic is available for everyone, including individuals or families with a low income or who do not have dental insurance. We also support provincial programs like Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO), Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Ontario Works (OW) and the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP) which provide free, government-funded routine dental services for qualifying children and seniors.

The CCCKL dental program is pleased to offer dental services geared to meet the needs of all local individuals and families.

Clinic Hours:

Monday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Tuesday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Thursday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Friday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The Community Dental Clinic is supported by generous support of many individual and corporate donors, as well as the United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP), is a publicly-funded dental care program for seniors.

Please note that as of August 1, 2021, the income eligibility is increasing to $22,000.00 for Single Seniors and $37,100.00 for Senior Couples. View Information regarding eligibility or how to apply.

Who is eligible?

  • People 65 or older who are a resident of Ontario
  • Are a single senior with annual net income of $19,300 or less, or senior couples (one or both people aged 65 or older), with a combined annual net income of $32,300 or less; and
  • Have no access to any other form of dental benefits including private insurance or through government programs such as Ontario Disability Support Program (OSDCP), Ontario Works (OW), or the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB)..

How does a senior apply?

  1. Visit seniorsdental on the Ontario site.
  2. Complete the online application form.
  3. Print and sign the consent form.
  4. Mail the signed consent form within 30 days to:

    Station P, P.O. Box 159
    Toronto, ON M5S 2S7

Mail

  1. Get an application form. Visit seniorsdental to download the form and print it. Or, pick up an application form at the nearest Community Health Centre or Public Health Dental Clinic.
  2. Complete and sign the application.
  3. Mail the application to:

Applications will be assessed by the OSDCP Program Administrator (Accerta).
