In 2023, CCCKL participated in Accreditation Canada’s internationally-recognized program to assess the quality of agency services based on high standards of excellence. Organizations are measured by standards that examine all aspects of health care – from patient safety and ethics, to staff training and partnering with the community. The agency has met the requirements of the program, and is accredited with exemplary status until 2027.
The process strengthens CCCKL’s ability to focus on quality improvement, client and patient safety, and effective governance. The standards that the agency works to attain are integrated into daily activities and service delivery.
