Community Care’s Sage Advice and Gentle Exercises for Seniors (SAGES) is a video-based program designed to keep older adults physically active, functionally fit, and independent as they age. SAGES focuses on improving cardiovascular endurance, balance, muscle strength and flexibility. The exercises help older adults complete daily activities such as climbing stairs, getting out of a chair, bending down, and much more! SAGES is appropriate for older adults exercising at different levels of fitness and capability. Suggested contribution: $3 per visit (first visit free).
The SAGES program is available in communities across the City of Kawartha Lakes.
